"The team at Cabinet Paint by Design did a wonderful job brightening our kitchen. Our old light maple cabinets were in good shape but showed wear so we chose to repaint instead of replacing. Yeni, the manager, carefully examined our hinges and noted some that they would replace. She also noted what was wood, and what was laminate which might need replacing before painting. The same care went into all aspects of the job. Alex, the granite specialist, somehow managed to get all the countertop pieces out of a single slab. The carpentry and painting by Moises were flawless. The cabinet finish is shiny, with no brushstrokes. We would definitely hire them again."

"I offer my highest recommendation for Cabinet Paint by Design. Their work is of exceptionally high quality. The cabinets and the finish look new rather than like 24-year-old cabinets that have been painted. Their work provides a wonderful update to my kitchen.
Yeni coordinated all the work on my project. Everyone who worked at my house was good, easy to work with, flexible, and trustworthy. I had one very small issue with two of the cabinet shelves that needed adjustment after the project was completed. Yeni responded immediately, and she and Moises took care of those adjustments and checked all the shelves within less than one week.
The process is generally this: First, several members of the team remove all the drawer fronts and cabinet doors and take them to their workshop. There they clean the drawer fronts and cabinet doors, sand them, and paint them. While that is happening, the crew comes into the kitchen and, depending on the size of the kitchen, to prepare the rest of the cabinets for painting by covering the floors with cardboard and everything else, very carefully, with plastic so all will be protected. Following the preparation, the remaining parts of the cabinets are cleaned, sanded, and painted. For me, this process of preparation and painting took about a week so I was not able to use my kitchen, except my refrigerator, during that time.
Cabinet Paint by Design will work with whatever a customer wants. I had a new backsplash that I arranged on my own. However, Yeni told me the order in which everything should be done. I also had my floors sanded and refinished. That was coordinated with painting of the cabinets. I had the top of the desk raised so that all the counters are at the same height; the desk itself was not reconfigured. Shelves were already under the island but Cabinet Paint by Design added some vertical dividers, which look very nice. Yeni identified a person to handle the granite on the desk and the knee wall whom they thought was the best person to handle that project. He also did an excellent job of removing the two pieces of granite without breaking them and after the height was raised, then pieced the granite together. It is barely discernible that the granite has been pieced. Having all the counters the same height looks much nicer than part at desk height.
Cabinet Paint by Design is an excellent company — a small company where everyone works well together. The company was recommended by a neighbor. I first met with Karim (Grace), the owner, and communicated with her a couple times. Ultimately the most frequent communication and engagement I had was with Yeni. I wholeheartedly recommend this company for superb workmanship and ease of working with them."

"Our solid brown maple cabinets were in good shape but looked dated even after updating our countertops and backsplash. Working with Yeni and her team transformed our kitchen. Yeni is so easy to work with. The colorist worked with us to find the perfect colors. The install and onsite painting was flawless. The team was professional and detailed oriented. We were out of town for the last on site painting day and returned to a pristine kitchen! Couldn’t be happier with the results. I highly recommend Cabinet Paint by Design.
